My 8 Photos of Happiness

This photo was the first (good) photo Ryan and I had ever taken together. This was right after school ended and we were starting to hang out all the time. We were finally allowed to see each other often and spent the summer together with our friends!

My friend Maddie and I met for the first time at Temple’s orientation. She is also a speech major and we’ve made it a point to schedule a lot of the same classes together. This year, in addition to taking 3 classes together, we are going to be preceptors for a class we took last fall. This photo makes me happy because we have become such good friends since then and I definitely couldn’t have gotten through my first 2 years of college without her!

These are the first friends I made once I actually came to Temple. There’s me, my roommate Kelly, Jake, Bridget, Dan, and his roommate Nick. This photo was taken during Welcome Week before we saw Aziz Ansari do some stand up comedy– we got 3rd row seats! I love this photo because it was one of the first nights we all did something together and we sat outside the Liacouras Center for like, at least 4 hours until the show began.

Here is a picture of some of my best friends + I by the Arc de Triomphe in France!! I was so fortunate to be able to travel abroad my senior year of high school with my choir and some of my closest friends. In this picture is me, Morgan, Kristen, Jana, Payton, and Lauren. This trip brings back so many happy memories for me. I was able to sing in some of the most amazing places and see some beautiful sights along with my favorite teacher (my choir director, Mrs. Benn) and my friends.

This is my best friend Kelsey. She goes to Widener University and during the school year I don’t get to see her much. This was our Freshman year and it was my birthday weekend. I had such an amazing time with her and all of her friends. I can’t wait to go back again this year!!

This is when I met Dave Patten for the first time!! He was at a little book store in Philly doing a signing for his first book, Run of the Mill and my roommate and I decided on a whim that we were going to go see him. He’s first and foremost a musician and I am obsessed with him his music. I was so nervous when I walked in and saw him sitting there that I started having an emotional freak out and his security guard started laughing at me!! (For real though, isn’t he dreamy??)

1459169_10200138246617957_1316576510_nSpeaking of me freaking out… this is when my boyfriend, Ryan, surprised me at my dorm freshman year!! He had been working in Chicago for 3 months and I hadn’t seen him. He and my roommate Kelly conspired against me and he knocked on my dorm room door, surprising me!! I was so excited/freaked out that he was there that I ran away and let the door slam on his face… He will never let me live that moment down.

10003257_10200833374395717_1712191014605993213_nLast but not least, here is a very happy photo of me and my 3 best Jumpstart friends around. These three got me through my first (+ second) year of college, along with providing me with what I know will be a lifetime of friendship. I can’t believe these three are leaving me soon but I know that you’re all ready for the real world. Love ya to pieces!

Now it’s time for me to nominate some blogger friends!
