If you’ve been reading the blog for a little while, you know how much Ryan and I love to travel. Since we’ve begun taking trips together, I’ve done my best to try to document each trip here for y’all as well as for myself so I can remember all the fun things we did/saw/ate. My favorite travel posts (so far) are about our trips to Nashville, New Orleans, and Los Angeles.
I’ve just finished up grad school (!!!!) and we’ve been trying to plan our trips for the summer. My roommate Jess is interested in taking a trip with us (she’s an excellent 3rd wheel tbh) when she’s finished her grad school classes mid-August. We’ve been brainstorming where we want to go… and it got me thinking about where I want to travel to next.
To make this post a bit more helpful to you guys, I included some good blog posts I’ve come across on my searching!
Side note: obviously, I want to go abroad and Ryan and I are making plans for that sometime in the (hopefully) near future. But for now I’m settling on some good old domestic travel. Here are some places I’m interested in seeing next!
Portland, Oregon.

I’ve been to Dallas a handful of times (mostly to see either OU or the Cowboys play) but I’ve never been to Austin! Vegas is definitely one spot that’s on my bucket list. Ryan and I aren’t huge drinkers/partiers but I’d love to go just to see all the sights and have some good food!

My roommate, Kelly, from college has been living in Boulder for almost a year. I’ve been dying to go out and visit her! She’s moving to LA after this summer so I’d love to go see her out there before she leaves.

Charleston is a really cute spot that I’ve seen a ton of bloggers travel to. It’s really cute and close to beaches which would make it a fun summertime trip! Since I live on the east coast already, it wouldn’t be too far to drive either.

My OTHER roommate from college is in grad school in Chicago. Ryan and I have been wanting to visit her for a while and now that I’m done school it definitely seems possible! Ryan has been here before for a Pro Bowl but I’ve never been! I really want to do at least 10 days in Hawaii sometime soon because it looks like absolute paradise. Could be an easier place to see once Ryan and I are living on the west coast also 😉 I’m not sure which island we should go to so I’m posting travel guides for a bunch of different options!
