Spring Semester Goals

Spring Semester Goals

Here we are again! It’s the start of a brand new year and a brand new semester and I can’t deny that I’m feeling both excited and rejuvenated. I’m only taking 4 classes this semester so I’m hoping that I’ll be able to have more time to devote both to myself and to blogging.

I debated not posting my spring semester goals because I didn’t do too well at achieving them last semester. However, I have a few new tactics about how I’m going to make sure I keep my goals in the forefront of my mind every day. The first thing I plan on doing is to write them in my planner so hopefully I’ll see them every day. I’m also planning on writing each goal on a sticky note and hanging them up above my dresser as a daily reminder as well. Hopefully that will hold me more accountable and remind me to keep working towards my goals every day. Here are my spring 2016 goals…

Study Neuroscience every night.

Neuroscience is going to be my hardest class this semester and I know it requires a ton of memorization. I really want to do well and make sure I am learning the information as we go along and not saving it for the night before an exam!

Develop a workout schedule.

This was one of my goals for last semester and one that I didn’t quite reach. I really want to workout consistently this semester so hopefully I can find time in between my classes and other activities and meanings. Fingers crossed I don’t get into a slump!

Keep blogging consistently.

This is another goal I had last semester but I want to keep it because blogging consistently is something I think is really important. I’ve kept up my goal of blogging at least once per week so I’m excited to continue writing and publishing posts for you all!

Spend more time at the TECH and library.

I usually study and do work at my apartment in my bedroom but I think I am much more productive at the TECH center or the library. I want to try to go there more often this semester to see if it makes a difference for me!

I wish you all the best of luck if you’re starting your spring semester soon! I can’t believe this break went so quickly but I think I’m ready to be back at it. What goals have you set for yourself this semester?

I need to find time to workout this semester too. It’s my biggest goal. If you need anyone to keep you accountable for your goals, I’d love to check in with you!

That workout schedule and that library time, though – probably kind of universal for all college-students, but still: I feel ya! My second term doesn’t start until February (midterms right after Christmas! yay!), but I already know my goals are going to look prétty similar 🙂 Good luck with those this term!

Neuroscience! Sounds so hard! But good luck this semester and make sure to sleep with the neuro book under your pillow to soak in the info 😉

I find that writing a schedule for all parts of my life tends to help me so much, and it’s really helped me a lot with working out. Good luck with your goals this semester!

I definitely think you can keep up with one post a week with blogging. I think it will all be done to time management. Maybe if you find your self having lots of free time during one point try and get multiple blog posts done at a time and scheduled?

I find it easy if I workout in the mornings! Helps me keep my workout schedule to a tee.

These are great goals, and definitely ones on my list! Blogging consistently and keeping up with my workout routine are huge ones for me. Hit me up if you need a workout accountability partner- I could always use one! And Neuroscience? Holy cow, good luck girl, you CAN DO IT!

Okay, neuroscience?! You must be SO smart! Even the thought of that makes me glad I don’t have to study it every night! Haha .. also, good luck with the other goals!

Great goals for the semester (extra shout out to you for learning neuroscience)! After reading this post, I think I should set goals (and write them down!) for myself before I head back to school.
