It’s no secret that fall is my favorite season and I’m so sad it’s almost over! The crisp fall air, the blanket scarves, changing leaves, and hayrides are among my favorite parts. There are so many fall trends that I’m obsessing over, I feel like each year I’m buying tons of new fall clothes just because I love the colors so much (whoops). There’s just something about the changing leaves and feeling like you can just start fresh that I absolutely love.
So it’s October 21st and I haven’t posted anything that could be considered “fall” or “Halloween” related. Whoops! I decided to link up with my friend Merisa over at Monogrammed Magnolias for my first (and hopefully not last?) fall blog post of the year! Be sure to drop your link below if you’re posting with us and check out Merisa’s post! We’re talking all about couple costume ideas which is an area of expertise for Ryan and I (kidding… kind of). Because fall is a pretty active season in pipeline, Ryan and I have only dressed up for Halloween together twice. It was a blast both times!
This is a sponsored post in partnership with Flying Colors Apparel and Her Campus Media. All words and opinions are my own. Even though I don’t attend a crazy sports school, I still love going to games and cheering on my Temple Owls! My high school was small, but I still went to a lot of football games mostly to socialize and hang out with my friends. Whether you’re a huge sports fan or you’re looking to branch out, I have a few reasons why you should attend sporting events in college! You’ll get the full college experience. Even if you chose to attend a small school, going to games can be a ton of fun. While I don’t think it’s necessary for a school to have sports to be considered a “real” college, I think going to games can be a great way to expose yourself to the typical college experience. I looked forward to going to games during my freshman year and I made so many memories at the Temple tailgates! It’s something fun to do. Chances are you don’t have too much going on during a Saturday morning/afternoon or a Friday night. Sometimes going to games is just a great… View Post
Working at a day camp all summer can be rough. With the heat and humidity and trying to entertain preschoolers, things can get a bit uncomfortable. Living with Ryan has its ups and downs as well, like when I come home from camp and he wants to head out to dinner or the movies right away. Luckily, I have a secret weapon to keep me comfy all day and all night: the Hanes Ultimate Comfy Support ComfortFlex Fit® Wire-Free Bra. It’s so easy to switch from camp gear to a flowy dress when wearing this bra. I honestly forget that I’m wearing it some days! I like to pair this bra with Hanes Cool Comfort® Cotton Bikini Panties just because they’re so breathable and comfortable. Dress: Mossimo Supply Co. (Target) // Sandals: Merona (Target) // Necklace: Marley Lilly (c/o) // Bra: Hanes Ultimate Comfy Support ComfortFlex Fit® Wire-Free Bra (c/o) // Panties: Hanes Cool Comfort® Cotton Bikini Panties (c/o) When I am “forced” to go out after a long day it usually takes a toll on me and my confidence. I’d like to take a long shower, stay in bed, and sleep until tomorrow, but Hanes keeps me feeling comfy and confident so I’m up to go out after… View Post
This post is in partnership with Bed Bath & Beyond, a brand I love. All opinions here are my own. It’s scary to think that in a little over a month I’ll be entering my senior year of undergrad at Temple. This will be my second year in my apartment on Park Ave, but I’m hoping that this year I’ll be able to make my room a little more homey and exactly like the style I want. I had lots of plans last year to put pretty things up on my walls but it didn’t end up happening. This year, I’m committed to making my senior year room the prettiest ever and it won’t be without help from Bed Bath & Beyond! I’ve gone to Bed Bath & Beyond for my back-to-college essentials ever since my freshman year. It has been the easiest place for my mom and I to shop for anything and everything I might need whether I’m moving into a dorm or a new apartment! There’s always a ton of different styles and options no matter what your price point is, and that’s definitely one of the things I love most about Bed Bath & Beyond. Yesterday I walked… View Post
