As you might already know, Ryan and I took a road trip over my winter break! It was a lot of fun and we got to visit TWO cities that have been high on our bucket lists for some time now. I wrote a post already on our first destination but now it’s time to talk about Nashville! Let me just preface this post by saying we only had three days here. I realize there’s a ton more to see and do but these were the top things we felt we MUST try while we were in town. I think we ended up seeing and doing a lot while we were in Nashville but we obviously want to come back for a longer trip sometime soon! East Nashville. We arrived on Wednesday, January 11th around 3pm. We checked into our Airbnb which was a loft above a couple’s garage. It was way cooler than it sounded. We loved this place! After getting settled we drove around town in our rental car and checked out a few places (more on that coming up) BUT I first need to pitch you Airbnb. We were total skeptics at first but renting spots with Airbnb was… View Post

Ryan and I went on a road trip! If you recall from my previous posts, on the day after Christmas we flew to Oklahoma to be with his parents for a week. Then, we flew to Florida for a week in Fort Myers. We had a lot of fun and spent most of the week relaxing on the beach and trying every single restaurant within walking distance. Right before we flew to Florida, we decided that we wanted to take a road trip. Originally, Ryan was supposed to be in Fort Myers the following week for work meetings but then found out that he didn’t have to go. So we had a free week on our hands. We really wanted to visit New Orleans and Nashville but we had never made actual plan to go. When Ryan suggested we rent a car in Florida and drive back up to PA, stopping at a few destinations on the way, I was all for it. I love seeing new places and road-tripping is a great way to see more parts of the United States. We only had roughly 3 days in each place but we tried to make the most of it!… View Post

Hello from New York! I’ve officially made the move up to live with Ryan in upstate New York for the remainder of the summer and I couldn’t be more excited to start camp and have some fun. For those of you who have been around these parts for a while, you might remember last year’s bucket list. Last summer, Ryan and I lived in Pittsburgh and I wanted to create a bucket list for us to make sure we did some cool things while we were in the area for such a long time. I’m proud to say that we nearly accomplished everything on that list. It was so much fun to document each bucket list item that I’ve decided to do round two this year! Ryan and I are living in Fishkill which is a town that’s about an hour and a half train ride to NYC. While we hope to go there a few times this summer, I really want to do other things in the area as well! If you’re from this part of New York, let me know in the comments if there’s anything I should add to this list! 1. Hit up New York City This one is… View Post

Today I’m excited to be linking up with one of my blogger friends Savannah from Always, S! This linkup showcases posts from bloggers all up the East Cost. We’re sharing our favorite spots in our cities and towns so be sure to check out the posts from other bloggers at the bottom of this page! Philly is my home during the school year and I’ve lived within 40 minutes of it for my entire life. I’ve gone there on weekends and my friends and I love to head into Center City on any given night to explore! I’ve been wanting to share some of my fav Philly spots here on the blog for a while, so I was excited when Savannah’s link up came about! We Temple Owls love to explore and venture into the city. No matter where you are on campus, you’re minutes away from the Broad Street Line, which means you have access to pretty much all the hot spots in town. This list has some cliche places and also some places that you might not have heard of! These spots are obviously not the only places/things to do when you’re in Philly. Philly has a ton of… View Post

I had a totally different post scheduled for today but I just really wanted to talk about my weekend! As I’m sure I’ve said somewhere on the blog before, Ryan travels for his job. Sometimes he has to go somewhere far, and sometimes we get lucky and he’s only a few hours away. Last summer, he was in Pittsburgh and I was #blessed enough to score an amazing internship and stay with him from May-August. This year, he’s living in New York about an hour and a half outside of NYC. Again, I was fortunate enough to find a job working at a great summer camp nearby so Ryan and I won’t have to be so far from each other (yay!). But as I’ve been finishing up classes in Philly these past few weeks, Ryan has been busy working hard for six days a week, 10-12 hours a day. I was lucky to get to see him this past weekend after 2 weeks apart and we definitely had some fun exploring the city!
