On January 13th, Ryan and I celebrated our 5 year dating anniversary. I can hardly believe it has been that long but at the same time I feel like I’ve been dating him my whole life. Since I didn’t get a chance to write a post for our anniversary, I decided to write one today for Valentine’s Day. I really cannot put into words how much I treasure my friendship and relationship with Ryan. Since the day I met him, he has been one of the sweetest guys I’ve ever met. (PS: here’s the story of how we met in my words and in his words!) Ryan couldn’t come to my senior prom so we went on a dinner date instead! Here’s a picture from that night. Christmas 2014 or 2015? Before my senior year homecoming dance! Taken during a night out bowling my senior year! A selfie from a “scenic turnout” while driving from Oklahoma to Texas to see a Cowboys game! Selfie from our first night in Cancun Taken during our summer in New York Before our first Sixers game together! Another senior year homecoming pic Taken during Temple vs. Notre Dame last year! As you might already know, Ryan and I took a road trip over my winter break! It was a lot of fun and we got to visit TWO cities that have been high on our bucket lists for some time now. I wrote a post already on our first destination but now it’s time to talk about Nashville! Let me just preface this post by saying we only had three days here. I realize there’s a ton more to see and do but these were the top things we felt we MUST try while we were in town. I think we ended up seeing and doing a lot while we were in Nashville but we obviously want to come back for a longer trip sometime soon! East Nashville. We arrived on Wednesday, January 11th around 3pm. We checked into our Airbnb which was a loft above a couple’s garage. It was way cooler than it sounded. We loved this place! After getting settled we drove around town in our rental car and checked out a few places (more on that coming up) BUT I first need to pitch you Airbnb. We were total skeptics at first but renting spots with Airbnb was… View Post

This is a sponsored post in partnership with BioClarity and Her Campus Media. All words and opinions are my own. I’ve had the same nightly routine since I was in middle school. No joke. It changes around slightly, but for the most part I do the same few things every night without fail. It’s important to stick to a good routine, it helps you build healthy habits and get yourself into the right mindset for the next day’s challenges. Today I’m going to share with you my nightly routine and how it has changed just a little since I started using BioClarity. Eat dinner. Ryan and I just got back from a 3 week vacation. We did a lot of walking around and exploring but we also did a ton of eating. I decided that once we got back it was time for me to buckle down and start eating healthier again. My typical dinner is usually a chicken breast with some brown rice. Occasionally I’ll treat myself by making ground turkey tacos but for the most part, I eat close to the same thing every night when I’m at school which can sometimes get boring but at least it’s… View Post

Ryan and I went on a road trip! If you recall from my previous posts, on the day after Christmas we flew to Oklahoma to be with his parents for a week. Then, we flew to Florida for a week in Fort Myers. We had a lot of fun and spent most of the week relaxing on the beach and trying every single restaurant within walking distance. Right before we flew to Florida, we decided that we wanted to take a road trip. Originally, Ryan was supposed to be in Fort Myers the following week for work meetings but then found out that he didn’t have to go. So we had a free week on our hands. We really wanted to visit New Orleans and Nashville but we had never made actual plan to go. When Ryan suggested we rent a car in Florida and drive back up to PA, stopping at a few destinations on the way, I was all for it. I love seeing new places and road-tripping is a great way to see more parts of the United States. We only had roughly 3 days in each place but we tried to make the most of it!… View Post

As 2016 comes to a close, I can’t help but want to reflect on everything that has happened this year. 2017 is going to be a big year (graduating college & hopefully starting grad school in an unknown city?!) but before we get to all that, I wanted to hit the highlights on my favorite parts of this year! Cancun, Mexico Ryan and I kicked off 2016 in Cancun which was a lot of fun! I enjoyed being able to sunbathe, swim, and read to start the year and I can’t believe I’m lucky enough to be starting 2017 the same way (but more on that later). We stayed at a resort that was absolutely stunning and I wish I could have spent every day in 2016 there! 2016’s Epic Food I’ve definitely indulged in some great food this year! When compiling these photos for this post, I’ve actually felt impressed with the different places I’ve found this year. Pics in order from first to last: MacMart, Green Eggs Cafe, El Vez, Green Eggs Cafe (all in Philadelphia), Black Tap (NYC), Hundred Acres (NYC), Jonathon’s (Dallas).  21st Birthday I was excited to celebrate my 21st birthday in West Chester and Philadelphia with… View Post
