“Thank you Ellio’s Pizza for sponsoring this post. Visit your local retailer to pick up your own Ellio’s Pizza for a pizza night in!” My friend Kelly has been my roommate for all of my college years. We’ve done a lot together, which is why I can’t bear the thought of us parting ways after this year. If you love your roommate, I think it’s important to make sure you experience as many fun things with them as you can. Kelly and I got through the awkward freshman years; now we’re 21 and ready for an amazing senior year. Even though this is just our second year living with our other roommate Jess in our 3 bedroom apartment, she fit perfectly within our duo and I couldn’t imagine the past year without either of them!
Today I’m excited to be linking up with one of my blogger friends Savannah from Always, S! This linkup showcases posts from bloggers all up the East Cost. We’re sharing our favorite spots in our cities and towns so be sure to check out the posts from other bloggers at the bottom of this page! Philly is my home during the school year and I’ve lived within 40 minutes of it for my entire life. I’ve gone there on weekends and my friends and I love to head into Center City on any given night to explore! I’ve been wanting to share some of my fav Philly spots here on the blog for a while, so I was excited when Savannah’s link up came about! We Temple Owls love to explore and venture into the city. No matter where you are on campus, you’re minutes away from the Broad Street Line, which means you have access to pretty much all the hot spots in town. This list has some cliche places and also some places that you might not have heard of! These spots are obviously not the only places/things to do when you’re in Philly. Philly has a ton of… View Post
Okay guys, I definitely didn’t have a super exciting weekend but I just had to post about this amazing CalMex restaurant Ryan and I went to on Saturday night. It’s called Mad Mex and it’s been 2 full days since we’ve been there and we still just can’t get over it. This is my first “food-related” post on the blog and I’m really excited about it! Ryan and I love going out to eat and try really hard to go to different places (especially when we aren’t near our hometown). Our rule this summer has been to try to only go to places that we can’t go to at home. We’ve been pretty good at following this rule. However, I was really surprised to learn that Mad Mex has a few locations in the Philly area. I’m very happy about that because we loved it so much! My Mad Mex Experience First of all, the atmosphere is great. The lighting was dim which made it perfect for our little date night. There were caveman-esque drawings as cutouts in the lampshades and along the walls which was really unique. We were seated right away at a high top table near the bar. Our server… View Post
