#KaylaBlogsHoliday 2017

kayla blogs holiday

Hi everyone! Today is going to be a quick post just to wish you all a Merry Christmas and share my favorite photos on the #KaylaBlogsHoliday hashtag this year. I seriously loved looking through everyone’s posts and seeing the Christmas magic.

This year, I spent the holiday in Oklahoma with Ryan’s family. It’s my first Christmas away from my own family in the 22 years I’ve been alive. It was weird to be away from them, but I was glad Ryan got to see his parents because he doesn’t get to be around them enough!

I wanted to give a shout out to my Secret Santa for TWO gift exchanges I participated in this year: Caitlyn! She got picked to be my Secret Santa for the bookish gift exchange hosted by Amelie AND she was my Blogger Secret Santa hosted by Abigail and Cathleen. I’ll put up a post when I get back from LA that shows all the amazing things she got me. She’s a super gift giver!

I also participated in Vlogmas for the second year in a row and, again, I epically failed. I vlogged a lot the first two weeks and then I started either running out of things to vlog about or got nervous to vlog in front of other people. I know you guys were enjoying my vlogs and I feel terrible that they just kinda fell off at the end but I was with Ryan’s parents from the 20th-25th and didn’t think they’d want to be filmed! Ryan and I are heading to LA today, though, and we are most definitely going to be documenting our adventures there!

I’m working on editing the last two Vlogmas videos I filmed and they’ll be up sometime today. Merry Christmas to you all and I hope your day was spent surrounded by family and friends!
