It’s already week 3 of Thankful Thursday’s! I can’t believe how fast November has been going. There are a lot of things on my mind going into this Thanksgiving break and a lot of goals I hope to accomplish over the next 10 days, but I just want to thank you all for coming to read my blog even when my posting schedule isn’t the most consistent or when I only write something once a week or don’t post a YouTube video for a month (I promise, one is coming!)
You are the reason I still write and the reason I haven’t abandoned blogging completely. I love to write and I love blogging, but sometimes I wonder if it’s worth sharing my thoughts with the world when I’m constantly bogged down by other things. ANYWAY, let’s get into this week’s Thankful Thursday. As always, I encourage you to reflect on the things you’re thankful for this week and let me know some in the comments!
I want to preface this by saying that I’m not ranking these things in order of importance. I also know that I have a LOT to be thankful for and I can’t possibly list everything in just 4 blog posts. I have a great life; I am truly blessed and I know it. Now, let’s get started with this week’s Thankful Thursday!
1. Waking up to natural light
2. Being able to finish a book
3. Being able to sing (and well)
4. Having people in my life who do nice things for me without thinking about it
5. Christmas movies
6. Reading by the fireplace
7. Movie theater popcorn
8. The opportunity to travel to new places
9. Friends who have been around for years
10. Chocolate
11. The smell of burning leaves
12. Beach trips where all I do is read
13. Getting the “perfect” Instagram photo
14. Morning snuggles
15. Powerful harmonies
16. Experiencing live theatre
17. Making breakfast with Ryan
18. When others are patient with me
19. Having had people in my life that I miss but I know are still with me
20. Monograms
Dude we are TWINS. I didn’t know you could sing! I’m an alto (sometimes soprano 2). We should just get together and put on a concert haha! (just kidding, just kidding!)

I didn’t know you sang either! I was an alto forever but then in my senior year of HS I switched to soprano 2. I just love harmonies they make me feel warm + fuzzy inside lol.
cute post! Im so thankful for so much too!
Love these types of posts! I am in full agreement with No. 12, I’m still so thankful for our most recent beach trip (last month) where I polished off an entire Nicholas Sparks novel beachside while we were there. It was the most relaxing thing ever!

Yes! Reading by the fireplace is my favorite thing to do in the winter/late fall. Love this series idea – such a good way to prepare for Thanksgiving and the crazy gift-giving season ahead. 🙂

This is one of my favorite post ideas! I love listing the things I’m thankful for to remind me of how blessed I am when things don’t go right. There’s always a bright side!
Waking up to natural light is such a beautiful thing! It’s been so weird since the time change to wake up in the pitch black. Not a fan. I also love beach trips where all I do is read! That’s my ideal kind of beach day but my husband loves to be active, so I don’t get them as much as I want!
such a great post idea and such a nice time to reflect on all the awesome things in life and how great some of the little things are, like finishing a book. That is the best feeling to me. Thanks for sharing!

ok but waking up to natural light is so underrated though, it seriously makes me so much happier…and yes to chocolate and movie theatre popcorn too!
You can sing?! Let’s hear it in a vlog 🙂 so much to be grateful for!
I love this! I think I might start participating in thankful Thursdays!
I love posts like this because it reminds all of us that we have so much to be thankful for!

I love this Kayla!!! Especially numbers 3 and 16. #YayTheatre
I love that you’re sharing this. Reading by the fireplace is probably my most favorite thing to do ever in life. 🙂
What a great exercise to go through. I love it. The shot of you with your coffee as well is a really great shot!
You have so much to be thankful for! My goal for 2017 is to keep a weekly journal of positive things that happen so next Thanksgiving I can reflect on all the things to be grateful for.
Such a sweet list! And a great reminder that there is so much to be thankful for 🙂

MOVIE. THEATER. POPCORN. Seriously, a girl after my own heart. My fiancee and I went to see Fantastic Beasts last week and I was ultra thankful for the extra large bag of popcorn. In all seriousness, I love these posts from you (as well as your other ones). Happy almost-2017!
