Upgrade Your Note-Taking Game with Wacom

This is a sponsored post in partnership with Wacom and Her Campus Media. All words and opinions are my own.

The Wacom Bamboo Folio was a device I never knew I needed. As I said in a previous post about how to take good notes in college, I am a pen and paper girl all the way. When I first got my Macbook, I took it with me everywhere and insisted on typing notes on it. Big mistake. I never paid attention in class because I always had texts popping up and Facebook notifications taunting me in the background. Spoiler: I have no self control. So I resorted to taking notes on paper and limiting distractions during class. Life was good. Until the Bamboo Folio came into my life.

At first, I was thinking, what the heck do I really need this for? Then I got it set up and started using it. HOLY CRAP GUYS. It’s so cool and so easy to use and I can’t wait to tell y’all how it changed my note-taking game.

The coolest thing about the Bamboo Folio is that it’s just like writing on pen and paper. There’s honestly no difference. I write my notes just like I normally do, but I can push a button and instantly have those notes on my phone, export them as a PDF, and be able to search through them on my computer.

And I love the super cute Bamboo Duo Essential Stylus + Pen which allows me to take notes or write in my planner and then tap on my iPhone without even putting my pen down. It’s wonderful and I feel like a #trueprofessional.

When I make study guides, I typically will have to re-type or handwrite my notes in a prettier way so I can, uh, actually study from them. Now that the Bamboo Folio is in my life, I can write the notes ONE TIME and spend more of my energy actually studying instead of constantly re-writing.

Like I said, this is the one product that I never knew I needed. How do you think this would change your note-taking game?

This is such a cool device! It kind of reminds me of those drawing tablets artists use! Where they draw on it and the picture appears on the screen. So cool what technology can do for us today!

I am a pen and paper girl as well, as my kids say old fashion. This sounds right up my alley.

It would have been cool to see a picture of how the notes look transferred over in the computer. I love Bamboo products though; rewriting notes is a pain and I could really use this!

This sounds amazing. I am a pen and paper kind of girl too, so I feel like this would be an easier transition compared to just typing things out. I love how it turns your notes into PDFs. That is awesome.
