Guys Behind the Blog: April Edition

Guys Behind the Blog April

Happy Ryday! We’re baaaaack with another installment of Guys Behind the Blog! I love doing this linkup every month, it’s so much fun to see Ryan’s answers and share them all with you. For those of you who don’t know about this link up, it is hosted by Betsy at Heavens to Betsy and Laura at According to Laura Jean. Each month they come up with a list of questions for their husbands to answer on her blog.

This month’s questions are all about family and childhood! Here are the questions and Ryan’s answers. If you have a significant other, I encourage you to get them to answer the questions. Even if it’s just privately. The Guys Behind the Blog series has allowed me to learn so much about Ryan that I didn’t know before. And that’s hard to do when you’ve been with someone for four and a half years!

I’m answering the questions with him again because his answers were short!

In what ways are you the same as your childhood self?

Ryan: My observation skills

Kayla: I still love being the center of attention lol.

What does family mean to you?

Ryan: Trust!

Kayla: Family means a lot to me. It means always having someone there for you no matter what!

How would your family or closest friends describe you?

Ryan: Thoughtful & dedicated

Kayla: Funny (hopefully) & hardworking

What’s your fondest childhood memory?

Ryan: Looking for deals at Flea Markets on Sundays with my Dad. I also enjoyed catching turtles around RV parks while traveling for my Dad’s work.

Kayla: My favorite childhood memories typically involve playing Barbies with my neighborhood friends! I played Barbies until I was in like, 6th grade so they were a big part of my life lol.

What words of wisdom would pass on to your childhood self?

Ryan: Always work harder than you think you need to.

Kayla: Enjoy every moment and know that nothing that happens now is the end of the world. You still have the rest of your life ahead of you!
