The month of April was a good one, friends!
To start off, my birthday was on April 2nd and I had so much fun. On Friday night (the eve of my birthday), I was invited to go to West Chester by some of my friends who live there. Kelly came with me even though she wasn’t 21 and I’m SO glad she did because she helped document the night! The pictures and videos from that night are definitely something I’ll cherish forever haha.
After my birthday, my family adopted a dog! Her name is Grace and I wrote a whole post on her adoption story, so be sure to check it out! It’s an amazing story and she has been such a perfect fit to our family ever since.
The next weekend, I drove up to New York where I’ll be staying this summer and interviewed at a day camp to be a counselor. I ended up getting the job, so that was super exciting and I can’t wait to spend this summer being a camp counselor and working with little preschoolers!
April also happens to be the month that one of my favorite PSP events takes place in! Alpha Beta is the chapter of Phi Sigma Pi at the University of Maryland and my school’s chapter gets to go every year. It’s an ICR event which means that chapters from all over the country come and hang out. The weekend is full of dancing, fun, and volleyball!
Then, to close out the month, classes ended and I got through a week of finals! I took my last one yesterday and I’m finally FREE and home for the summer! It feels so good to be done with my junior year, I’ve had a busy and challenging two semesters.
Now, if you’ve been reading these monthly rewind posts for a while, you know that I normally discuss my current reads/reviews in them! I hope to be reading much more this summer so I will go back to writing book review posts when I finish a few books. Hopefully you’re excited to see what I plan on reading this summer and what I think of the books!
