A Day in Old City

I had a totally different post scheduled for today but I just really wanted to talk about my weekend! As I’m sure I’ve said somewhere on the blog before, Ryan travels for his job. Sometimes he has to go somewhere far, and sometimes we get lucky and he’s only a few hours away. Last summer, he was in Pittsburgh and I was #blessed enough to score an amazing internship and stay with him from May-August. This year, he’s living in New York about an hour and a half outside of NYC. Again, I was fortunate enough to find a job working at a great summer camp nearby so Ryan and I won’t have to be so far from each other (yay!). But as I’ve been finishing up classes in Philly these past few weeks, Ryan has been busy working hard for six days a week, 10-12 hours a day. I was lucky to get to see him this past weekend after 2 weeks apart and we definitely had some fun exploring the city!

Let’s pause and talk about my outfit, shall we? I got this adorable white lace OTS top from H & M for $10! I’m so obsessed with it, and it’s the perfect summery top and totally on-trend. I paired it with my favorite Ray-Ban sunglasses and my new favorite Tory Burch purse that Ryan bought me for my birthday! It’s the perfect little bag to wear to the bar or around the city!

I love being able to get out and walk around Philly with him when there’s such nice weather. When he’s usually home it’s during the winter months and you probably couldn’t pay me to get out and walk around the windy, frozen tundra that is Philly from November-March.

I can’t wait for more adventures this summer in NYC and beyond! Did you do anything fun this weekend?

I have never been to Philly, but I really want to go! My mom is originally from Reading, so I’m hoping one day soon her and I can go up and just do a big roadtrip around Pennsylvania! It looks like you and Ryan had such a fun time – your pictures are super cute!

I’m living in Philly this summer, and I’ve loved every chance I’ve gotten to go down to old city! It’s so pretty and there’s so many things to see. There’s also a couple of really nice restaurants.
