January Rewind + GIVEAWAY

January 16 Rewind

Today I’m bringing you a new type of post! I have written “rewind” posts in the past, but this time around I’m going to be doing things a bit differently. Instead of just posting my Instagram photos and what I blogged during the month, I’m also going to list the books I’ve read so far, link to my favorite posts from other bloggers that were published this month, and write a little bit about what’s been happening in my life lately. I’m hoping that these rewind posts won’t be boring (if they are, please let me know!) and that they will be a fun way for me to wrap up each month while also letting y’all in on some personal life details.

I kicked off the new year in Cancun with Ryan and it was so much fun! We had never been to Mexico before so it was a really fun trip for the both of us. The resort was absolutely beautiful and the fact that I was able to have unlimited frozen strawberry margaritas was definitely a plus. We want to go back and do some excursions next time! After we returned from Mexico, I started classes a few days later. I’m already loving my schedule 1000 times better than last semester because it gives me so much more free time and I feel like I can actually relax! I’ve been going to the gym every week since the semester started and I’m feeling really good about it. Also this past weekend we had a crazy snowstorm and we got over a foot of snow! I can barely remember the last time we got so much snow. I liked it for a few hours but now it’s just annoying to walk to class in. Spring, where you at?!

Read Books

I started off 2016 strong by reading 3 books this month! I probably would have read more but then school started and I haven’t picked up a book in a few weeks. I hope to get back on track ASAP!

The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion

Never Never #1 by Colleen Hoover + Tarryn Fisher

The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins

Even though it was a lot different than I expected, The Girl on the Train probably takes the cake as my favorite book this month!
