Fall Semester Goals (Revisited!)

fall semester goals

I can’t believe that finals week is upon us and I’m here wrapping up my fall semester as a junior at Temple. The night before this semester began, I sat down and wrote some goals I wanted to accomplish. I try to set small goals for myself each day but I think I could have focused more consciously on these semester-long goals more. For the spring, I think I’m going to write them down and post them by my bedroom door so I can see them and remember them every day.

Let’s revisit these goals and see how I did!

Develop a workout schedule.

So this one was a total fail. I ended up getting too busy and not having the time or energy to work out. I’m bringing this goal back for next semester so hopefully I’ll be able to push myself to go at least a few times a week!

Balance school, blog, clubs, and personal life.

I think I handled this one pretty well for the most part. I few times, I felt like I was drowning in both schoolwork and outside responsibilities but I think I ended up handling everything really well. I’m excited to only be taking 4 classes next semester so hopefully I’ll have more free time to relax (and study!)

Keep blogging consistently.

I’m super proud of myself because I published a post at least once per week (for the first month or two I was posting 3x per week!) for the whole semester. The only exception to this was over Thanksgiving break… but at that point I was also working and trying to spend some time with my boyfriend and family. And every blogger needs to take a break once in a while, right?

Survive Biology.

This one is TBD. I have my final next week and fingers crossed I finish with a decent grade!

Stay on top of my assignments.

I knew I wasn’t going to change my procrastinator ways in just one semester, but I think I did a pretty good job of getting everything done in time (sometimes even way before it was due!)

What goals have you accomplished this semester? Do you feel as though you’re ready for the new year?

Side note: I’m SO ready for Winter break, especially because my boyfriend just booked a trip to Cancun for the both of us at the end of December! If you’ve ever been to Cancun, let me know if you have any ideas/recommendations of cool things to do and see. I’m so ready to spend a week in paradise de-stressing from this semester.

Congrats on achieving (some of) your goals! I know who hard it is to be in college and balance everything even though you seem to have more free time that disappears magically??? It’s so great to see you grow in your blog!

It can be so difficult to maintain a blog on top of school or a full time job, well done! 🙂

I think it’s so cool that you revisited these goals and evaluated how you did! It’s one thing to set goals, but it’s another thing to check back up on yourself. You seem to have done a fabulous job of reaching your goals! Don’t worry about the working out one – I know the struggle of being tired and busy haha!

I love that you re-visited these goals! I think you’ve done a really amazing job with all of them! Cancun is one of my FAVORITE places! I went last year and am hopefully booking a trip to go back some time this spring! The water and beaches are amazing! Ride the local bus at least once, but be careful…they drive crazy! It’s just a really interesting experience!

Love that you revisited your goals – definitely something that would have been good when I was in college, haha! Good luck with everything! Also, you go to Temple? That was my second choice for undergrad (I just graduated from another college) and my old high-school choir teacher is a professor there now 😉
