Relaxing Over the Holidays with Hallmark

Relaxing Over the Holidays

I love Christmas and Thanksgiving but I hate how stressed out the holidays can make you. You have to shop and work and even some people have school assignments to finish. I’ve made it my priority this year to make sure I am in full relax mode once Christmas comes around.

Last year, my boyfriend and I took a vacation to Oklahoma between the end of my fall semester and Christmas. I was so stressed out when I got back because I felt like everything was just flying by in a blur. I didn’t realize how much I loved those days leading up to Christmas. This year, I teamed up with Hallmark and found some must-have items for those relaxing moments before the holidays hit you.

Coloring books.

Until now, I had yet to find an adult coloring book I was in love with. There are so many great coloring books at Hallmark and I had no idea! I decided to pick the Art of Inspiration Hallmark coloring book and I’m absolutely obsessed. The designs are perfect and I’m planning to hang some of these up in my apartment once I finish!

Candles.

Hallmark has such great candles! The store by me only carries Yankee Candles but I have heard that the Crafters & Co candles are also amazing. I love having a candle lit while I’m reading or relaxing so these are definitely a must-have!

Hot chocolate in a cute mug.

Possibly the only great thing about cold weather is the fact that I can use hot chocolate to warm myself up. I also have been wanting to expand my mug collection and Hallmark has some really great cozy mugs to choose from. I love this one and this one!

A holiday movie.

On the Hallmark channel, perhaps? In all seriousness, I love popping in a classic Christmas movie such as Elf or The Grinch. Hearing it play in the background is enough to lighten the mood all around!

What things do you love to do to relax over the holidays?

Today’s post is sponsored by Hallmark Gold Crown! Thank you for inspiring me to try out your Hallmark Creative Collection coloring books!

Hot chocolate and candles are essential! And yes, I’ve been working my way through an adult coloring book myself, it’s the biggest stress reliever!

I bought a coloring book early in fall, and I’ve been loving it! I included it in my November Favorites (I bought mine from Francesca’s, and have been using it way more than I intended). But, I also love candles this month. I have never tried from Hallmark, but I always buy Bath & Body Works candles because I’m obsessed. Their fall and winter collections are incredible! The store that I work at in the summers sells grown up coloring books! We sold tons of them this summer. They really are the new “thing.”

I’m looking forward to finals being over so I finally have time to sit down and watch some Hallmark Christmas movies. 😉

I’m not a big coloring person but I definitely have friends who are. I’ll need to let them know Hallmark has great options for adults!

I got my first adult coloring book recently, and the obsession was immediate. It’s so calming to just color and be creative in a simple way. I’ve also been watching a lot of cheesy Christmas movies on Netflix and drinking a mug of hot chocolate on the daily.
