One of the biggest things that has been looming over me is supply shopping. I start classes in less than a week but, before yesterday, I hadn’t done any shopping yet! I know, I know, the procrastinator in me is creeping out already and the semester hasn’t even begun! Thankfully, this shopping trip ended up being quick and painless because Walmart has become my one stop shop for all of my back to school necessities.

List in hand, my mom and I stopped by our local Walmart last night and were able to find everything on my back-to-school list. We were in and out in less than an hour! From toiletries to a new bookshelf to the essential food items, Walmart had it all!

At the top of my (long) list was some new disposable razors. When I was working this summer, I wore pants every day so shaving was not a top priority in the morning. Now that I get to wear whatever I want to class, shaving is definitely back up at the top of my list.

Since I’ve been home, I’ve already stolen one of my mom’s disposable razors so I knew I’d need to be getting some to take with me to school. We have a tub shower in our new apartment and I couldn’t be happier! Shaving is going to be a breeze. I can’t tell you how frustrating it is to try to shave in a shower that has no place to rest your foot. If you’re one of those ladies that has to go through that struggle on the daily, I feel so bad for you. I probably would never shave. #GirlProblems.

I absolutely love the Schick Quattro disposable razors. So, of course, that’s what I ended up with. They even had this coupon attached to them that I used at checkout. I was able to save $2 on the spot!

The Shick disposable razors were also super easy to find. Look at this awesome display that was at Walmart! Points if you can spot the shower head!

Of course, disposable razors were not the only things on my shopping list. I got some grocery items, a new bookshelf (a tall one which has been my DREAM for so long I’m so excited), a couple of new notebooks, some hand towels, toiletries, and the essential cleaning supplies (laundry detergent, dish soap, trash bags, disinfecting wipes…). This time around, I feel as though my shopping was very low-key. I usually go overboard when it comes to back-to-school shopping but I had a lot of things left over from last year. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with reusing the same stuff and saving some $!

I hope the rest of you are finished shopping and are ready to tackle the new school year!

What were your must-have items to start this semester?
