I love music. I’ve been singing since I could talk (everyone says that, but it’s true!) and I’ve learned how to play a few instruments in my lifetime (piano, clarinet, flute, and guitar… in that order). I’ve also been in many musicals, concerts, song fests, county choirs, and I even had the opportunity to sing abroad in Paris and London with my HS choir!
Now that I’m in college, however, it’s hard for me to find time to sing along to anything but my Spotify playlists. I’m obsessed with Spotify. I have the student discount so it’s about $5 per month and it gives me access to SO MANY SONGS. I also love Spotify because of how easy it is to make playlists. I love playlists. I love listening to other people’s playlists. I have a playlist for practically every occasion you could imagine.
Because I’m constantly listening to music, I’m always coming across new songs that I love and want to share with the whole world. Well, it’d be pretty hard for little old me to share a song with the whole world BUT I can share the songs I love with all of you!
Right now I’m super into happy songs that remind me of more simpler and carefree times. These songs are perfect for summer! I’m excited to share with you my top 5 songs that I’ve been listening to on repeat!
1. No Words by Erik Hassle

2. Come and Get It by John Newman
