July Rewind

July Rewind! Kayla Blogs

I’ve always wanted to do a “rewind” type post where I look back on some of the things I did and the posts I’ve written over the course of the month. I decided that this month I’d share with you some Instagram photos as well as give you a quick list of the posts that were published on the blog in July (just in case you missed some!) and whose blogs I’ve been reading at least once a day.

This month has felt both extremely fast and extremely slow. July was my last full month living in Pittsburgh with Ryan. I’m extremely sad about that because we’ve had so much fun adventuring together and crossing off bucket list items. I don’t know what I’m going to do when I have to go back to school and can’t see him every day!

I wrote a lot of blog posts this month that I’m really proud of but I think my favorite one has to have been my post about Preparing for the Fall Semester. Its been getting a ton of Pinterest traffic (so exciting!) and I would love for you to check it out and let me know what you think!

These are the blogs I’ve been obsessing over this month… check them out below!

The Fashionista’s Diary, Coming Up Roses, Helene in Between

Speaking of favorite blogs, this month I tried (and kind of failed) to do Helene‘s #31PhotosInBetween Instagram challenge. I was pretty proud of some of the pics I took this month so I wanted to show them off here on the blog! Some of the photos warranted a blog post plug so look out for those as you scroll!

Take a look at my favorite Instagram photos from this month!

You’ve had a busy month but it certainly looks like it’s been fun! My favorite part of this month would have to be my vacation, that hasn’t technically happened yet, but we’re taking off tomorrow so it’s still a July activity! Not to mention finally getting my blogger buddy!

    • July 31, 2015 / 10:39 am

Yay! Can’t wait to read about your vacation!

I LOVE Helene in Between. Her blog was one of the first I found and she’s so fun and inspiring. I also LOVE Coming Up Roses and the girl behind it. Erica is the sweetest and we’ve chatted a couple times about blogging. And all of Lauren’s posts on The Fashionista’s Diary make me super jealous hahaha. Her clothes are to die for!

I didn’t know you were going to move to Pittsburgh! I’ve been having a lot of fun here this summer and, being from Philadelphia, I’m liking it much more than I thought I would!

Hey Kayla! Found your blog through the that post you mentioned via the wonderful portal of Pinterest, and I’ve enjoyed following your blog ever since! (Also, that planner family?? MAGICAL.)

My favorite post of mine this month was a How to Make a Summer Bucket List post, complete with infographic. I know most people only have a couple weeks of summer left, but it’s never too late to make a checklist. https://postitperfectionist.wordpress.com/2015/07/09/tips-for-making-a-summer-bucket-list-2/
